The month of Elul invites spiritual renewal. We have 40 days until Yom Kippur to prepare our teshuvah, our (re)turning towards the Higher. Yet Elul marks a period of honest confusion; it is difficult to journey to the world that is waiting to happen, We get in our own way.

These 40 days provide a new map, a new approach focused not on ourselves and what we desire but on what the Creator hopes for us. We can intuit our deeper, spiritual genetic makeup, and feel the longing of our heart for connection. This could be the call of our true, spiritual selves – independent and yet dependent, on our own, yet necessarily part of Divinity. This spiritual partnership would transform humanity! How might we participate?!
