Vayishlach – Weekly Torah Portion

This week we are encapsulating two Torah portions – Vayetze & Vayishlach.
They signify the difference between exile and the beginning of exoduses out of exile – light of redemption and future or the will of the Creator begins to reveal itself.

It is clear from this portion – the way one sends themselves through this work. The means and ways it is possible.

The movement is from Vayetze – flight of Jacob to exile – what we are not dealing with the forces at play to leave the state he couldn’t form himself. It is to do with the ‘hollow space’ . there needs to be a reality of choice, that you are out of the arena of ‘everything is there for the taking’ or a constant presence. The entire creation starts with concealment of the Creator – up to the point it allows a fleeting memory of the intention of Creation and one’s own existence.

Jacob going out is a state of sleep. Therefore it will occur during a dream, not being fully aware of the presence of the Creator, rather during sleep.

Coming back of Jacob to Israel, back to be with the fulfillment of his mission – Vayishlach. In Hebrew you can read into it – the purpose of the mission: Shlichut.
In Hebrew there are 2 oppositions – weakness (Chalash) and dominion (Cholesh).

Coming back to the branch, in the wold of Atzilut – the condition is set in this portion.
When we are starting to fulfilling the missing of the spirit, and relate to it – as Jacob is coining through the narrative of coming back. There will always be a fear and struggle. A walk through stage. It will take the time – to fulfill all invitations for reforming oneself – and a group of spirits that will constitute the state of reformation (Tikun).

After Jacob forms himself as responsible for a family, with a maturity of connection, of seeing that this mission has a joint purpose…

How to create a laboratory of preparation of oneself to connect to other wills – the wills of the nation.

What we see at first – when Jacob is going out into exile – the way he can be touched is through a dream. When he comes back is through seeing. The revelation is through an awakening.
